Many of us, myself at least, are probably actually happy to have a lockdown because it means we have a legitimate 'excuse' to continue hiding away and isolating ourselves from the rest of the world lol

The worst of it though is the propagandists exploiting the mentally ill and incompetent to impose their illegal/immoral lockdowns, and demanding the masses get injections for profit and social control. There are many people out there who literally believe the covidhoax propaganda, and are killing themselves with the substance injections. Many more have been financially destroyed, and the suffering from this operation is widespread.

Covid restrictions is what made me suicidal again and the insanity is never going to end so there is no point in me trying to put my life back together. I'm in massive debt and now with inflation and crap wages I will never be able to earn enough money to have a decent life. I refuse to ever try again.

I know anti lockdown people who lost multiple loved ones to suicide. A lot of people committed suicide during the lockdown. I know because I went out and protested with them at the beginning of the pandemic.

But make no mistake, the government could not care less about suicides. If they did there never would have been lockdowns in the first place and now they are offering a bandaid for a gaping wound to make it look like they care. All they care about is power.

@Fragile - In case I wasn't clear, I did not imagine this person bragging about illegally breaking quarantine to flaunt measures in place to stop spread of a disease that has killed many of us. This is something I perceive because it happened, not because of my emotional state, and it would be morally-negligent of me to be 'tolerant' of it.

"You are not entitled to our deaths. You are not entitled to the deaths of our loved ones in the name of capital, privilege and "normal." You are not entitled to our silence about our pain and suffering and the wet tar grief that envelops us. You are not entitled to our fear and terror at the worsening conditions and chaos of this pandemic, wondering if we will ever be able to safely leave our homes again.

A cornerstone of being disabled in an ableist world is isolation. This is part of the trauma of ableism. Disabled people are marked over and over by isolation through material, social and cultural inaccessibility, stigma, fear, violence and shame. We live with various forms of social distance our entire lives. During this pandemic, many disabled people, particularly those who are high risk, have not left their house or seen anyone for years, save the people they live with.

Disabled people are not disposable. We are your feared present and your inevitable future. We are what age and time promise more than anything else, and this is one reason you fear us and why you have continually pushed us away and hidden us. You don't want us too close, don't want a daily reminder of difference and privilege; you don't want to have to change your life for us. We are to be landfilled away, conveniently forgotten about so you can play pretend without interruption." (Mia Mingus)

The lockdown made me lose my job and also it made the world much more callous. The people who are vaccinated are now hating the unvaccinated and vice versa.

It's worse than ever. I with I could bedead but I can't do it since I am a coward.

YES thank you.

There's nothing "FEEL-GOOD" about "stay home, save lives," lmao, it's a fucking real pragmatic response to a dire fucking situation.
(One which, I should not, the Liberals have entirely abandoned now as the spineless business-as-usual bootlickers that they are.)
Looool. There was never any dire situation except what you all created with your blind obedience and gullibility. The real pandemic has always been the masses of programmable drones being played by social engineering schemes.

I agree that vaccinated played by such schemes. But I never did. I am personally unvaccinated.

Yet I will not hate the vaccinated and I personally called the most vulnerable to China Flu to be vaccinated lest they die. I persionallly promoted vaccination against the China flu. As such I hate the division enforced between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.

I am treated like the enemy of the state despite I promoted masking earlier than the authorities and I also promoted the vaccination of risk groups instantly.

I wish personally I died of China flu

@waitingforrest Exactly I am getting fed up of hearing the pharse "we are in this together" because we are Not in this together. The Lockdowns effected people differently. In lockdown there people who did struggle but there also people whoose lives who just stayed pretty much the same so were not badly effected by the changes.

During valentines day when the UK was in lockdown 3 couples were sharing their stories with the media about being lonely this valentines day without their partner due to the rules. It really made me angry because there people out there who have endured loneliness for years and nobody cared about their struggle and loneliness.

I am getting sick of this bullshit fake concern about mental health and loneliness because for years wider society and the general public never cared about the outsiders, of the world.
You post reminds me of how those of us who are "essential " workers in the US were being called "heroes". We were out there before vaccines were even available, not because we wanted to be, but because we had to make a living. We are low paid, and nobody gives 2 effs about that or our health, so it's just easier to call us heroes, and not change the socio economic system.

I don't hate vaccinated people at all even though I caught covid from a vaccinated person recently. I wish I could die from it too but it was mild for me. I have had debilitating chronic health issues for almost 20 years. My family has so many health issues and we have all been fine. In the beginning I worked in a very busy grocery store, hugged strangers, went to rallies, protested in the rain and snow and couldn't catch it.

It is disingenuous to highlight a couple having to spend Valentines day apart when this medical tyranny is pushing so many to suicide and destroying lives. I saw an interview of a high school girl in the UK talking about how it has ruined her life. It is so heartbreaking especially when you consider how it is affecting the children.

It's very unlikely you would die from it. I have heard the loss of taste and smell is a zinc deficiency. Covid depletes zinc. IDK how true that is but a zinc supplement wouldn't hurt.

Since I drank too much and I wasn't cured by 2-3 interventions by parents had they decided to disown me. And it is my fault since I chose drink over my family.

Anybody else feel like Covid helps their depression? I feel guilty laying around all day, watching tv, staying at home, and not wanting to socialize. Finally, the rest of the world was forced to live like I have been. I didn't feel so guilty doing those things anymore.
I actually really enjoyed the lockdown, from my own perspective. I'd basically already been living like it was lockdown before Covid ever came around, but once it did I actually had an excuse.

Pediatric hospitalizations are up drastically, higher numbers of children are being admitted to hospital with pneumonia:
Have you ever considered this is because they're forced to wear masks all day? You're not supposed to be re-inhaling the same breath over and over.

Brutally good point.
My death won't be landing in any of the fishnets of these cowardly factions of society. Lockdown is obvious government pushing their control sadism agenda, but as you get the nail on the head only when they are wound up being stuck with their partner and kids in a small house smelling each other's farts all day do they realize life wasn't as great as they spewed.

I didn't even want to go there with the mask debate but since you brought it up….I quit my job because I was getting really sick from wearing a mask all day. I am already a very sickly person but I was doing ok after working really hard to get healthy. The mask made all my symptoms come back worse and I started having weird head tics kinda like Parkinson's. I could not get out of bed for a while and the head tic will not go away. I also got a bunch of cavities which is not normal for me.

I protested with many people like me. Many were very old and/or already had health problems and could not wear a mask. Some were young kids who were passing out in dance class or having tachycardia.

The Covid warriors are maligning Herman Cain who like me got his tax policy from Sim City.

They are attacking him on reddit and the fucktards there are not banning this bs as any other shitty thing.

Because of muh coofid-19. We need to encourage muh vaccinations.,

After the way they treated Herman Cain I will never take any "vaccination",

Unless they ban r/hermancainward I will never take any "vaccine" ever,

"I cannot listen to the CDC say they are "encouraged" that only those "who were unwell to begin with" will die from Omicron and then hear about so-called-comrades' vacations outside of the continental U.S. I cannot be part of any more so-called political conversations that don't acknowledge disability, ableism and abled supremacy in the middle of a pandemic.

We will not trade disabled deaths for abled life. We will not allow disabled people to be disposable or the necessary collateral for the status quo. We will not look away from the mass illness and death that surrounds us or from a state machine that is more committed to churning out profit and privileged comfort with eugenic abandonment.

We know we need systemic change so that our peoples can literally survive this pandemic alive, but we also know that the kind of changes we need are most likely not coming. It is in the interest of those in power to keep people uncared for, sick and dependent on dwindling crumbs. This is one reason why ableism and poverty are so effective and why they are often inseparable. There are many things we cannot control or change right now, even as we desperately wish we could. As we fight for systemic changes, we can also try to change what is happening inside of our communities. We can learn from our mistakes and try to, at the very least, not make things worse than they already are."

@NeverGoBack94 I saw that sub on reddit and it is disgusting. People who make fun of those who died from covid19 after refusing the vaccine are actually evil.

Hermain Cain was a black man. The people reddit participating in the sub amoung them are likely people who tweeted #Blacklivesmatter when George Floyd died and now these are same people who are making fun of a black man who died. Reddit as a corporation was preaching about black lives matter after George Floyd however they are allowing a sub that is making fun of a black man who died. There famous lots of white people who refused the vaccine and died however I don't see their names and their own sub mocking them. The hypocrisy is on full display for everyone to see.

The vaccine refusers who died had families and people who deeply cared for them. Their decision to not get the vaccine sadly got them killed however they are still human beings worthy of compassion and dignity like everyone in society.

The worst thing about the pandemic is the abscence of humanity and compassion.
I lost my job because of it as well and have been unable to find a new one.
@ThriveOrDie virtual hug 🫂 🤗

I am so sorry to hear that. In lockdown I started purging and restricting the food I eat. I began doing this because I don't deserve to be physically healthy and not worthy of good health. In lockdown I read the stories and lives of those who died from covid19 especially the young doctors and nurses who died. On the news there was a story about a 33 year old NHS nurse who had a husband, 3 kids and she died from covid19. Reading her story the nurse had so much to live for and I just felt how is it fair someone like me who hasn't done anything meaningful with their lives still gets to be alive and healthy.
Covid restrictions is what made me suicidal again and the insanity is never going to end so there is no point in me trying to put my life back together. I'm in massive debt and now with inflation and crap wages I will never be able to earn enough money to have a decent life. I refuse to ever try again.

@ThriveOrDie The first lockdown was understandable because there was a lot scientists and wider world did not know about the virus so its natural for governments and scientists to want to contain a virus that was killing people and rapidly spreading worldwide. Multiple lockdowns in my opinion are just now immoral because they create a vicious cycle which is lockdown, reopen and lockdown again after cases go up. We can't carry on living like this because lockdowns do more harm than good in people's lives. I always thought we would have one lockdown.

What piss*s me off about anti lockdown supporters and suicide is their exploitation of suicides in children and teenagers in lockdown especially when they bring out the parents who lost children to suicide in lockdown. The truth is when it comes suicide in lockdown regarding teenagers the elephant in the room is the parents

Controversial opinion:

The problem with parents is that there a lot of parents who do not listen when their children tell them they are depressed and there lots of parents who do cover up mental health issues in their children even the non abusive ones do it too. When I was a teenager I used to self harm and when the hospital nurse saw my scars they recommended I go to CAHMS( mental health service for teens) . My mother refused and managed to convince the nurse I was going through a pharse. She pretended to be the concerned mother in front of the nurse when 2 hours earlier before my appointment my mother screamed and blew up with pure rage at me when she saw my self harm scars. The nurse believed her concerned shocked mother act.

My mother would tell me to cover up my scars when I did extracurricular activities after school. My mum said " cover up that arm I don't want social services getting involved ". My mum made sure I never visited the GP and so I had to avoid getting seriously ill.

There lots of parents like my mother who do this. Many parents see having a mentally ill child as something to be ashamed of or an uncomfortable situation so it easier for parents to live in denial and not acknowledge their child's mental health. Suicidal thoughts build up over time by the time most parents realise their child is so far gone its too late.

There far too many parents who are clueless about what is happening in their children lives.Parents need to start listening more to their children and paying attention to what happening in their children's lives.

I am buying that bullsh*t about lockdown being the reason why that mother lost her teenager or child to suicide because of lockdown. That child or teenager who killed themselves in lockdown was already so far gone.

It is impossible to know if the teenagers and children would be alive of there was no lockdown.
