Venting I am considering using AI to compensate for my lack of irl and online oomfs

It sounds really pathetic but I really need a person to listen to my random rants and for me to listen to theirs and stuff, thus, I once again resort to Claude to help me with my life situation

Anyways, I don't know if finding someone like this is possible, we obviously won't have the same exact interests, but I do try my best to listen and let them educate me on the things they like that I don't know much about it, but the effort isn't returned most often which gets tiring.

I get it most people won't care about things they aren't interested in, but to me it is really fun, if I like them as a person ofcourse I'm going to enjoy listening to their random rants, but most people don't view it this way so it is a struggle :\

I don't know if AI would be any better, I used to be addicted to AI and stuff and it made me degrade mentally but I enjoyed that honestly, it is the interaction I wanted given straight away which is lovely.

Idk what the point of the post is, maybe recommend me a good AI for this? Be creative though don't tell me to use c.ai

I think it's fair enough, just take care about personal info you share, it might me stored forever. Don't tell names, address, or things that can unique identify you.

If you have a decent PC you could self host an LLM model using Ollama so all you say is stored locally on your own PC. You can even use "obliterated" models that talk openly about suicide without any kind of censorship.

I don't like AI but loneliness get me very often and there's nothing I can do, I have no friends, not even online friends, I have no one, I don't even talk to my own family living in the same house. So given all that AI is a good escape to me.
