i feel like hypothermia would be relatively bearable if im drugged out of my mind on ketamine or something. at least, it seems better than ketamine + drowning. will this work? can i just sit in the fridge and wait to die?

You mean with the door closed, right? You'd most likely die of suffocation first due to lack of oxygen.

Would a fridge be cold enough?
You might have to use a freezer dude.

Walk-in refrigerator or freezer would do it, but honestly I don't even know how serious or rational or logical this post is. I hope it's not a joke because a lot of people on here are suffering and are going to die. Self-included.
If i were just totally out of my mind on drugs I don't think I would waste time in a refrigerator, I probably just jump off a building or bridge or in front of a train.

Not cold enough. The only thing that would kill you in a fridge is lack of oxygen

Maybe in refrigerator rooms. Even then idk why anyone would select that option.

i dont know why you think its a joke, im asking for advice on how to kill myself. what the fuck is your problem? i dont want a violent death because i feel that would be excessively cruel to my family and loved ones, and im not confident that i have the courage to throw myself off a building or in front of a train. death by hypothermia is relatively peaceful, and its more practical than trying to find nembutal in south america.

do you have a source for this? i looked it up, and about 60 people die every year from being locked in walk in refrigerators, and succumbing to hypothermia. this makes me feel like they are cold enough. but i could always use a freezer instead.

its not excessively painful or difficult, its not violent, and it doesnt require anything difficult to access

I said hope it's not a joke
if you can, def use a walk in fridge, one of those would be better than a household refrigerator, even if you drilled a hole in it for oxygen.
CO in a car is very peaceful and non violent.

That's a long time to fight SI. And hypothermia makes people delusional so I have to think at some point you would open the door.

You are going to need to handcuff yourself to something in a walk in freezer and throw the keys out of reach. you will die then for sure.

I mean, if you really wanted to die, why would you bother drilling a hole for oxygen?
It would be a long, slow death.
Possible, sure. Anything is possible.
Peaceful? No.
I wouldn't suggest this method, like at all, but if I had no other option- I would probably want to drench myself and my clothing in water prior to getting in that fridge.

I would assume that a regular freezer / fridge will lead to suffocation earlier than death by hypothermia. However if u have access to an industrial freezer room that may be a viable option, if you want and can endure freezing.

Walk in fridges are much colder than a kitchen refrigerator
