I've read quite a lot unsuccessful sn and other methods threads.
It gave me a feeling that sometimes it's very hard to ctb even if one follows the protocol when it comes to sn, or for example when one jumps from a very tall building.
Then it ends up having even more 'issues' than before ctbing.
Okay, I just wanted to vent me..

Yeah…it's really unfortunate. The body can take all kinds of horrible punishment, be in immense pain and still go on. Nature is cruel.

I certainly hate how it's so difficult to finally be free from this existence, it really should be easier to leave, I just see the problem as being how we exist in such an anti-suicide society where we are inhumanely denied the option of guaranteed ways to leave in peace without risks and complications. It's so cruel how one can end up suffering more from a failed attempt.

I think we've all seen too many films or TV programmes where they make it look so easy and accessible. I suppose not everyone struggles. Some people succeed despite the most restrictive of conditions- like in prisons. Still- I think one statistic is something like only 1 attempt for every 25 will be successful.

I think that's because a lot of suicides aren't very thought through and very rushed. Also like you say, everyone assumes it's so easy.

I second this. It seems so easy to die in movies.
The question is how many of those 25 people want to ctb genuinely though

I felt similar but with chocolate. Wouldn't it be great if you could just gorge yourself to death on sweets and chocolate in a matter of hours as opposed to a long and drawn out death from bad diet and obesity

Billions of years of evolution, we are no match for that. For most of us , unless you are in tremendous pain, physically or psychologically you won't beat SI to ctb.
