How to tell my bf that I did it.

I dont know what to do. I have been with him for a while and I want him to know it isn't his fault and that Im with him without him worrying. How can I tell him that I'm doing it. I could probably text him because when I'm doing it he is asleep most likely.

Someone close to me GF cut her wrists in his hallway and wrote 'Sorry' in blood on the wall while he was at work. That was probably one of the worst ways to do it. Maybe just break up? I don't think there's any good way to let someone know you will be or are dead or why.
