• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

From a one time hell psychedelics trip (laced shrooms) to two biopolar episodes lasted for 6 months within a span of 3 years, my brain is considerable slower than before. Right now I recently taking lion manes mushroom and it seems to be helping, my mind is getting sharper.

I have done some research on this since it's one of my big obsessions in life. A lot of research supports the fact that your cognitive skills can be enhanced by doing tasks that involve problem solving / all tasks that require cognitive power in general. As the guy said before, reading has shown to improve memory and focus. It also improves your vocabulary and articulation skills. Physical exercise and eating healthy also has a big effect. And this isn't just some bs I'm throwing off the top of my head, it's been shown to work and I've noticed the difference myself.

(Sorry for my english, im using translator)
Basically, it's like going back to school. Reading books, doing math problems, creating art, exercising... you know. Doing all of that with a pencil and paper is what makes us less stupid, and that's really the point of school. I only realized that in my senior year. Today, I'm dumber than I was when I finished high school, and now I realize how far my life has fallen. Anyway, get into a routine without pushing yourself too hard, and little by little, you'll surely improve! Good luck!

Having enough attention/focus seems relevant, I have a meditation megathread in my signature if you're interested. Otherwise I suppose we'd do different things depending on which aspect of intelligence you want to develop. Creativity/speed/wisdom/understanding/decision making/etc.
