Please do some research on hanging. Neck breaking is either Judicial or in the movies. Unless you completely screw it up, you pass out in seconds. The better the setup, the fewer seconds.
My research is pointing to concluding that hanging is a painful gruelling way to die.

Hanging can be non painful if done rightly. I am not living by my own. Living with my parents.

I saw some video were one man hang himself by using a pull-up bar. He did drop down when he was fapping shortly before climaxing.
It was fast and he did not move after a few seconds.

I wish i could do something similar.

I have some thoughts on this subject, but I'm afraid to weigh in because I don't want to seem like I'm advocating another person's suicide.

Does anyone know after the person hangs if there will be any screaming or shouting or other sounds ? Will it be quiet ?

There shouldn't be any screaming as the rope or ligature should be too tight for that to be possible. But your body would be thrashing around and convulsing and it could be loud. Maybe not too loud but definitely take it into account before attempting.

People, can you help!
Is this rope any good for hanging? I tried to break it but it's seems solid.

I tried to ctb with partial hanging from a door anda I have to say it's pretty painless. I used some fabric tied to the handle on one side, going over it and then a tie with a slipknot. The tie ended up breaking. I think the seam got undone and then it ripped.

The height was enough to put good pressure on my neck but I could still touch the floor with pointed feet. I was out in less than 10 seconds
im sorry if i sound stupid, but what do people mean when you put the knot on the side? wouldnt it slip to the back of your head because of the weight?

a good and concise post my only feedback is -that i am not sure it was necessary to post a video for a knot type that is only really used/ needed for judical type long drop hangings, where as for short-drop and partial a very simple slip knot will suffice. So that knot vid might throw some people off and trigger fretful knot replies etc. that is all. all good otherwise. well edited info.
This is my understanding as well. A simplier knot is better to use. There are many CTB cases where the individual used a belt which did the job—no hangman's noose. And many have used a rope with a simple knot and that worked.

Hanging is misunderstood. So many think of what they see in movies or various online videos. That is movie magic and script writing. They make a great story.
If you find a video of someone actually hanging, and setting it up correctly, they go limp in 3 to 10 seconds. Most closer to 3 seconds.
The thinner the rope, the more discomfort. You really fo not want that.
Get a good rope, something about 1/2 inch in diameter. That lowers the pressure on the skin and that lowers discomfort. With full, any good slip knot and your weight will knock you out quickly.
Set it up wrong, use shoddy materials, try to emulate Holywood and unpleasant results await you.
Research and think. Ask questions after that.

should i add padding or no since what ill be hanging myself with is thinner so it'll cut into me more. if so which objects work best?

Not too much padding. Make sure it still applies even pressure, no lumps in it. Rolling a thin dish towel around it might be good. Like a wrap.

You could of had a easier way out, but you swallowed your pride and pulled the trigger on the method. I honestly have nothing bud respect for people who hung...that takes amazing courage...(it could of been easier on them) BUT GODDAMN WHAT A BADASS
I suppose, but really, hanging is simply the go-to when nothing else is available. Jumping in front of a train takes major nerves of steel.
