This is the only place where you can say “kys”

Ik this is a childish thing to say and that people have worse issues but tonight I am sitting in my room feeling so numb, even tho I was doing well for the past month and a half…
I am so scared that I wont get into uni I am trying so hard to get into.
But even more I am scared of getting triggered into my bad habbits because of it.
But at the same time, getting even better seems so strange and unreal to me that I might be scared of that the most. Leaving my therapist I got so attached to, and living a functioning life…

Hey, don't stress yourself out. If you plan to be pursuing a higher level of education, just (this sounds corny) try your best. You may find yourself in a place you don't like now, but with academics/school, sometimes you need to zoom out and re-enlighten yourself about why you're studying/pursuing it in the first place. If you don't get into the university, you can find another place that gives you the education you're looking for in your ideal university. Things will work out!

You got this, and I wish you the best in making your decisions! <3

Kill me

People who gatekeep things that make people feel suicidal suck, no need to apologize for feeling like killing yourself no matter the reason.

This is a fear I had as well. I got through it by rawdogging the anxiety, which isn't helpful to you, but maybe it'll help to know that there's outcomes outside university (no really, the reason university is so sought after is just propaganda and people with big money wanting even bigger money) and some of those do pay well. Not gonna tell you what to be, but a degree is a specific field has more limiting options than what the time and effort would make you believe. Hell I work retail and my boss can afford a damn nice car and what does she do? Nothing but stare at us and yell at us if we are slow. No degree required.

But whether you make it in or not is something that will occur no matter what happens and there's little you can do to increase you chances at this point. I suppose if you haven't already sent an application you could study? Even then we're all just working with the results of our genetics and surroundings, and if you don't make it that's why.

Do you have community college where you are? I didn't get into regular college so I went to a community college first and then was able to transfer to a standard college later. I dropped out eventually but that's how I got into college without originally getting in.

It's not a childish thing at all, your entire future kinda depends on it. You can always go to a community college then transfer to a university and it's cheaper that way. Honestly no matter what school you go to you are learning the same thing unless you live in a different country where it works differently.

+1 for community college then transferring. It sucks to live with your parents for longer but you save money at least. It's cheaper than 4 years of uni.
