Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't have anything to kill myself with. I don't even have any sturdy rope I could use to hang myself with. Nor can I get any tools because I don't own a car. Purchasing ctb-related items at walmart or walgreens would immediately raise my parents suspicion. I tried to buy SN discreetly but they intercepted the package before it got to me. So, what's the most viable option for me if I have nothing and can't get anything? What's the most household item friendly method?

Hello, I'm sorry you've come to feel the need to CTB. The PPeH describes the Korean method as a suicide method that requires no equipment (though you need to acquire the right technique). I hope you find something that's right for you, be it to continue to live or to CTB

I really wish there's a way, it's so cruel and dreadful to me how painless, guaranteed ways to cease existing are made inaccessible and I always suffer so much from how I cannot just have the option to cease existing peacefully, I hope you find the peace you search for, I wish you the best.

Is that similar to the one method where you put sandbags on the side of your neck? The one discussed in suicide resources?

Yes I think it's a variation of this method that you can do with your own hands

I think the Korean method might be related to the vagus nerve inhibition. When stimulated it might send an impulse that will stop the heart. I've read a few medical articles that described cases when people died due to been hit in the neck or grabbed by the neck. The death was instantaneous. The location of bruises on their necks indicates that the most likely cause of death was vagal inhibition.
So, night-night/tourniquet methods are meant to stop the bloodflow to the brain and I don't see how you can do it with your own hands for long enough. While practicing with the 'sweet spots', my hand releases the pressure and starts dropping right after I'm about to pass out.
With the Korean method, on the other hand, the idea might be to press/strike/stimulate the vagus nerve hard enough to induce the impulse that will stop the heart. If so, one could die anytime they want, without any tools or substances, without pain, instantaneously. If this were true that would be great news. But I don't know if I'm correct. Maybe I just need to do tests on myself and if I'm lucky enough I might just CTB during one of them :)
