this is a small tutorial how to 10x your results in psychotherapy as a person that had multiple therapists.

before we dive into it lets have some basics:
1. try to get the best therapist as possible that you vibe and trust
2. it takes time and effort. it isnt like meds that helping you without you putting any effort (except taking it).
3. you probably have multiple problems that you need to go through to solve your problem. it is like a babushka that you keep opening. usually it means multiple therapist too because each have another way of looking at things.
4. Therapy (even self therapy too, which is the majority of the work) is the only solution. meds really here just to help you deal with the symptoms.
5. usually you need to do things outside of therapy for results too.

so the method is really easy. just have a conversation with your therapist in your head. you can get some free session any time at any place.
keep practicing it. than test it in real time with them and see if you get the same results at you do it in your imagination, it will probably will happens naturally.
the problems that you couldnt solve it yourself.
keep doing it and improving your mini therapist in your head till they dont help you anymore , then start leaving them slowly. if your problems do not solved better just looking for another one but only after you had a good idea how to have this mini therapist and see for a while that they are stopping helping you. maybe you found another problem you have that they are not have the ability to solve too.

I feel like therapy is just a quick temporary relieve. I only go occassionally now, like once every 3-4 months. Everytime it's the same: I vent about something that I wanted to tell someone, she asks me about the other standard stuff (work, relationships, hobbies,...) and then at the end she tells me i'm doing a good job taking initiative and to keep going.
The only valuable part for me is not having to hold back the way you have to with friends/family, but still talking to an actual person instead of on the phone or through text.

Yes. I have been seeing this one for 4 years now. Tried a different one at first but she felt a bit too bubbly and not accepting of harsh realites.

Yeah after each session she tells me that I should take the initiative myself to see her again.

I don't mind her at all, I think she's good at her job. I just think that therapy as a whole is just very overrated. I have one friend who went through cognitive thought pattern therapy and he said that helped him and I could see that, but otherwise it's just venting mostly.

What do you like about your therapist?

depends , i am always changing them.
first they ask me what i want to get in the treatment and then i talk about the subject and we try to look deep. why i want to ctb, why i am on this forum and so on and see an overarching theme and try to solve it with some other motivations that i got.

Did it really help you much then if you still want to die?
just keeping you alittle longer is enough, maybe it will resolved in the future.
therapy is not easy or black or white. it is gray process. maybe i will live only if i will keep doing it , maybe it will be resolved. i will sure die without it
