Discussion How risky is it to overdose in a cave or lost place and how can I calm myself down?

Bro not to be mean, but seeing at your threads and posts, I dont think OD would work for you. It rarely even works for people who have done some really meticulous preparation, with extensive knowledge, and resources to proper drugs & have access to them at the supposedly lethal dose. Yet they still fail and just end up being at the hospital. Most people I know who have actually died from OD-ed were almost all inadvertent from on/off recreational drug use. Or intermittent addicts who miscalculated their tolerance to a certain drug.

Looking at how you're asking even the most fundamental questions, I wouldn't recommend you going ahead with this method.

Seconding what AsAboveSoBelow said. At first I was willing to answer a few questions but at this point I don't really think you should be doing this. It seems more like you're asking questions to cast doubt on yourself, looking for a way out instead of being sure you want to die with no other choice.

Is it cause they were found or their body was too strong or something else?

Many people say that the questions I ask are stupid, I think this is cause I have no abilities at all in real life, the only things I can do are online, I have no irl skills that is why basic things are hard for me I think.

I can't decide the perfect method for you; I'm stating I personally wouldn't recommend OD as a method for you. But you can do whatever you want ofc

Long story short: Drugs & combinations of drugs work differently for everyone, and it is difficult to gauge. Lots of different factors and reasons. Perhaps you could use the search button, see if other users have shared their experiences (I'm not too sure, I haven't looked it up myself - I'm answering based on personal experiences and observations from people around me)

Some people use hard drugs recreationally, sometimes excessively, some are addicts. They use drugs for fun and to get high or for escapism

Not everyone who has died from overdosing has intended to suicide. Lots of people die due to accidents.

Tolerance to drugs builds up, and can change/fluctuate depending on someone's use of drugs and sometimes they miscalculate it.

Sometimes the drugs they bought off the streets/black market has been laced with something else, or they got sold something else etc.

I didn't say the questions that you asked are stupid, but they are really basic things.

People might be able to answer technical questions about a specific method once you have done enough research (look up at what others have posted, read the megathreads and resources thread etc.) based on your current circumstances,

but it would be quite difficult for people to answer random questions about your living situations etc. or how to figure out how to do a basic chore in a house they don't live in, in a suicide section; and

OD-ing - in general, not just for you - is something that is quite unreliable as a method, it rarely succeed. On the flip side, incidents do happen.

I don't see how an extreme dose of bdo should fail if you are not found except for vomiting but that can be minimized by anti emetics but it can still happen I think which is worrying me the most.

Depends on the method I think, Nembutal overdose is the best suicide method but sadly not available except for mexico I think?

I find it very weird that you'd suggest a cave, it feels more like a fantasy than a serious consideration because like you said, how are you even going to find a cave? Just find someplace where you won't be bothered, a hotel or whatever and then do the deed

You are right, I should be realistic.
I will probably ctb with sn at home when my mother is working.
