Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm 61, for a few more weeks. I've been depressed forever, didn't realize it until later if course. I've been suicidal since I was 10 or so with a few breaks where I could relax. I'm in one of those non suicidal times now for the last month, longest in a long time, and am enjoying it.

Geee, thanks (I think). I'd have to say that my 40's were the easiest. The most difficult were the teens and twenties. That is why I just cringe when people so young ctb. I'm not here to talk anyone out of it but I do try to keep others to from doing anything dumb that will make their situation worse.
My secret to survival was having pets to live for, didn't get to have kids.
Depressed for ever (or just anhedonia) ? I manage to enjoy life a little for sometimes.
Big suicidal thought since 2022 (mainly during winter) and also suicidal behavior since October 2024. But I stop the last since my CTb attempt in mid March 2025.
I'm 55 and when I first came on this site I thought there would be more older people here. I was a little surprised, and sad, to see so many much younger people.
I don't invalidate anyone's feelings... and I was depressed when I was younger too... I just never was suicidal until I got older and everything was still the same or worse. I gave life a fair shot for a long time before I realized I should have packed it in a long time ago... BUT I couldn't have known for sure when I was young.
I wish our society wasn't discouraging anyone... but I really wish it wasn't discouraging young people who haven't really had a chance to start yet.

I understand that. Personally I've just never had the desire to grow old, it always seemed so mundane. Ever since I was a little kid I'd look around at my older peers and think, "that's it?"
But then again, like you said, I can't know for sure and honestly with how my life is and the ambitions I have I could probably hang on for years and years and be at least semi okay, I just simply have no interest in that as it currently stands.
I'm thirty. I started to feel depressed at around eleven years old. Two years prior is when my oldest brother's heroin addiction started, and that started a chain reaction of awful, traumatic events.
At around seventeen is when I started to contemplate suicide. Ever since, I've struggled with suicidal ideation. But lately, I feel really good and that things are maybe turning around~
Fuck it, I'll contribute.
41, depressed for as long as I can remember, suicidal since 16, with attempts at 17(more like a cry for help), 20, 27 (heh) and 32. Still on the fence of staying or going.
It also deeply saddens me how young some are here - hate to see it, even if I understand.
I'm 22 I've been depressed my entire life. I used to think I was just a very sad kid it wasn't until I was 13 that I became aware of depression and found out I had it.
18, been suicidal since I was 10. First attempt was around that age too. My parents watched, but, being my incompetent moronic parents, they thought that I was only doing it for attention. Believe me, I wasn't.
