How much of time before an attempt should I drink alcohol to suppress SI?

Alcohol of choice is rum, probably going to take a few shots before hand. I'm concerned that I'll be too impaired to actually CTB properly. Should I drink like half an hour ish before? Method is FSH or partial.

i'm not getting this question.. is it another way of asking how long will it take for it to kick in? or how long will the drunkness stay? either way, alcohol and timing dont go well together. just dedicate a whole night to it where you can comfortably drink and take your time, and you will eventually build up the courage to do it

I love that that's such a good way to think of it, to relax and build courage like that's smart and sounds so nice ahhhh I can't wait for that hehehe
