In case i do attempt, i was thinking about doing it in the balcony outside my room at night but my family sleeps right in the next room so i don't know if they will hear me. Is the process very loud?

After you making puking sounds you will make sounds similar as a loud snoring. That's the agonal breathing, this too will cease in 20-30 minutesSimilar threads
