I wish there was no sleep. It's a pain. I lost my natural ability to sleep 10 years ago. I can't be sleepy anymore. Most of the time it's controlled with medication. Mirtazapine works well. It's been bad for the last 2 days. I've never used benzos. Even on the worst days. The drugs I've tried are hydroxyzine, doxylamine and a few antihistamines like that, some antipsychotics, mirtazapine. Mirtazapine is the best.
