Actual attempt: Going on 8 years. It resulted in me being in the hospital in a coma for a week or two.

Though several months ago shit got bad and I was crying with a ligature around my neck for hours without tightening it/fully attempting.

I passively attempted to kill myself at 14 by strangling myself with a plastic bag in my parents trunk. I don't know how serious I was because I didn't write a note or anything.

I made the mistake of telling my friend about it and she said I was making excuses. Now I don't really tell irls about my mental health anymore unless it's really bad, and even then I usually rush and delete the message.

I haven't properly attempted to leave this dreadful, torturous existence I always saw as a mistake as after all I'm so cruelly denied the option to cease existing painlessly to escape from the abomination of existence, I find it so terrifying how trying to cease existing can go wrong and lead to way worse suffering and torture, all I wish and hope for is to never suffer again and I always suffer from how I cannot just have a death like never waking ever again.
