Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

In a few days, I'll be going on my own for the first time to see a psychiatrist who was recommended to me five months ago by my sister's psychologist. The main topic of our conversation will be suicide, that's exactly where I want to start, but I'm not sure if this is the right approach, or what other questions might come up. If everything goes smoothly, we'll move on to the topic of aggression and my inner world, how long might these conversations drag on, and where might they lead?

You probably already know this but don't say anything about having a plan. Unless you want to end up in a psych ward.

It'll drag on for as long as you let it. Psychiatrists can't make a living without repeat customers.

Do not talk about ctb or harming yourself unless you wanna end up in the psych ward and a $10,000 bill.

Good on you for taking that step. I'm trying to get an appointment with a psychiatrist myself, but most of them here have stopped taking new patients, they're all full
