Do you guys think death is cold and sad, or is it something warm and comforting?
I've read a few near death experience reports and a lot of them say they just feel peace and comfort. I believe death is the most peaceful thing as you don't have to worry about anything anymore and it will soon feel like you and the whole world never even existed in the first place. Any thoughts on that?

It depends, I think primarily, on the circumstances upon which you're dying. If you're going on your own terms, everything under your control, all loose ends tied up, etc. then yeah, I could imagine it being very peaceful. At the same time though, if you get shot and spend 15 minutes bleeding out in a field in В середине нигде, Russia, in agony and surrounded by people who couldn't give two shits about you, then that's a different story. Generally though, in your final moments, like the last ~15-30 seconds, as your brain begins to shut down, it seems to be pretty universally cathartic.
Though, that discounts all the people who survived suicide by jumping, and their harrowing tales of regret - realising in the instant after they jumped, as soon as it was too late, how badly they wanted to live and fix their lives- and in those cases, that death, while maybe quick, is certainly not peaceful.

I meant a person's final moments like the last 1 or 2 minutes when you start to lose consciousness. Ofc if you get tortured and bleed out it will not be very pleasant.

I find the idea of a peaceful, pain free death to be a beautiful thing.
I often imagine myself slowly dying, and eventually seeing my body being burned in a crematorium.
It gives me great comfort to think of this.

I assume it all depends on the circumstances. Probably an ordinary person would be panicked, distraught, or just hopped up on adrenaline. Personally I think I'll be pretty emotional and nostalgic. Sad to let go of everything good about the world, but relieved to be free of all the bad. Bittersweet but at true peace.

I think I'm going to be scared- a bit like going in for an operation for the first time. Just that fear of the ultimate unknown. I'd like to hope it can be peaceful though- even if you CTB. Like- once you have accepted what is happening to you.

Many may dislike this opinion, but I would state that it varies depending on the condition of the person. People who see that there is no point on going on, or want to help others because they feel like a burden or feel as if they completed their life would most likely see it as warm and comforting. However people who feel as if they could do more in life whether it's by saving people or getting revenge for someone would most likely see death as cold and sad, since they will never be able to see how far they could've gone to contributing to either themselves, others or for the world. Although this is what I believe, in my current state I would be content in dying. If I were to die right now I would see it as warm and comforting. Finally being able to escape reality.

I think it very likely just depends on how the person leaves this world, I can imagine that the last moments must be very peaceful with an Nembutal suicide as the person has the knowledge that everything will soon be forgotten about, once they've finally drifted off into an eternal sleep nothing can concern them for all eternity. To me the thought of not existing forever certainly is so incredibly comforting, as one cannot be harmed by not existing but I would rather avoid any dying process personally though, unless it's just peacefully falling asleep forever.
