Help how do you start to induce hyperventilation?

so how does someone manually do it? yes its for shallow water whatever its called but again, said before, i have only the worst methods available and no i dont have a dollar extra to my name. i know its not the best but its this or cutting istg i have nothing else. cutting with dull knives too but at this point im about to just say fuck it.
