I saw Greta Thunberg mentioned in the news recently, and it got me wondering who she actually is. So I looked her up on Wikipedia, and she sounds like an amazing person!! You never know, my search for the nicest girl in the world might be finally over.

How do I get to know her and find out if she's as great as she sounds and, if she is, make friends with her?

How do I find out how to contact her? And how do I write her an outstanding e-mail or whatever that's going to convince her that I'm worth replying to and getting to know even though she's never heard of me? I suppose they're probably the main questions.

She's got Asperger's syndrome and selective mutism, and I've got similar problems, so it might be worth mentioning that to her to show that we can relate to each other.

She's on Twitter. Is it worth joining Twitter and trying to contact her that way? I'm on Facebook but I think her dad or someone runs her facebook page so I'm not sure whether I could contact her on facebook.

Shall I give her a detailed description of my personality to convince her that I'm worth getting to know? That's probably an Aspie type thing to do, so it might work with her.

Maybe just a short description of why you're inspired by her if she has any way to contact one on one public.
From an outside view I recommend keeping it friendly. Even messaging her through her dad may be a decent way if you're honest.
But please don't be upset if you can't get in contact.

Sorry to burst your bubble but this is how it goes:

Celebrities treat people like fans and fans treat celebrities like people.

Spoiler alert: no one wins.

Also look up the redpill my friend. I'm sorry but you sound rather naive, to say the least.

I'm considering reaching out to Doug Stanhope. Man raises Patreon money for troubled people or just fans coming to his house in Arizona. He's a comedian, but it's not a joke.

He is openly pro-euthanasia in his stand-ups and is alleged he could have helped his mother commit suicide.

Doug Stanhope is dope. My guess though is he'll be too drunk to deal with the public.

From what I hear, he's an extremely earthly, nice person to be around irl and so is his wife. Not sure if true

Btw, 5 years ago he uploaded a vid on smuggling alcohol to cruise ships, he had 3 liters or so strapped to his body in plastic pouches :pfff:

I'm going to be honest - this is not going to work. My opinions on her aside - she's never going to even see your email, as she probably doesn't read her own. On twitter, I doubt (if she even controls her own) she reads through a lot of her messages. I would focus my energey elsewhere.

You could get involved in eco activism and/or go to somewhere she is speaking. Why not write her a fan letter? It may or may not work. Twitter is good and/or Facebook.
I've been at an event where she spoke - XR at Marble Arch. An acquaintance of mine met her parents!

He is talking about non famous young autistic girl @x_LittleAmy_x (that turned out to be bipolar middle-aged man named Jeremy). I don't know if screenshots of their conversation are still available on the forum, but I remember that it was not about the desire to collect signatures.

I don't want to be rude, I also like aspie ladies, but take into consideration that she's very popular and she probably gets thousands of emails and messages from her fans around the world daily. I don't say you cannot give it a shot, 'to a willing person, injury is not done'... However the chances that she will notice you are quite small in my opinion...

You're a man in his 50s and she's a teenage girl with a lot going on. You're not going to become friends based on the fact that you both have Asperger's and you think she's the most perfect nicest girl in the world. Any communication that did reach her expressing this sentiment (unlikely) would probably scare her a bit.

You're projecting a fantasy onto her by way of a parasocial relationship.

You'll probably have a better shot at it if you become a loud eco-grifter.

Seriously tho, celebrities can barely be considered real people. Their entire personality, backstory and even opinions tend to be manufactured. And it seems to be specially true in this case...

Isnt her PR Handler a Rotchild family member?

I might just contact Bill Gates and tell him i am a supporter of the depopulation politics.
Maybe he will give me a nice job. Because i really am a supporter of depopulation/population control.

I listen to his podcast; he's changed his policy on having fans over. He doesn't encourage it anymore. He's a cool guy, but he's inundated with all sorts of crazy fans wanting a piece of him, so better to leave him alone, I think.

Um, my friend...While your intentions may be honourable...I think they may be a misguided way to hurt yourself.
That sweet little girl has an empire of armed bodyguards & caretakers to protect her from human interactive reality. I'm sure in her world, sharks are not apex predators - boys are. While I'm completely into rushing and pushing yr agenda etc (I've ended up intimate n almost screwing a monster rockstar :: all because I took a chance) I wasn't naive (u are, I fear) and in the momentary friendship deal I got backstage passes, signed discs and limited edition vinyls.
What do you want; exactly? The reality is nothing like the fantasy ::
I tell few ppl cos they wouldn't believe me (my best friend has Polaroids tho) and know when it's over - u were never intended to be anything more.. youre already replaced (when they leave London) :: or when she's introduced to sum with more to offer..
So there's a weird emptiness - but there always is... look famous people want love and the occasional good Fuck, just like us
We're all cynical, twisted bastards that dont want rich famous people to find meanong and happiness by fixing 1of us up. Im not cynical or twisted... I myself put my hand up when they called out 'depraved'. Only me. So don't take my advice. Email her. Cautiously.

I'm confused, this thread has nothing to do with suicide and yet it was posted in the suicide discussion.
Oh no, after all our advice he's defiantly gonna wanna kill himself.

Because loneliness is the main reason I'm suicidal.

Why has it been moved to off-topic? They could at least have moved it to recovery.

Well, a few things:

She is very well-known and no doubt busy. Messaging her in a heavy type of way is likely to fall flat on its face for a number of reasons. She may not even see your message, for one thing. If she does, she may find it intimidating or off-putting. She doesn't know you at all, and acting overly interested out of the blue is an instinctual red flag for most people.

She is also very young and has Asperger's, so that alone would rule her out if it were me. You don't want to be seen as predatory or trying to take advantage of her.

People don't usually connect because of similarities. It doesn't matter if you're both Aspies, or if you both care about the environment, or both like Anime, or mountain biking, etc etc. Attraction is based on chemistry which is unpredictable in nature and usually only generated in person. It's in intangible sort of thing which is difficult to anticipate or build without a unique bond or shared situation in the real world.

At the end of the day, do what you want, but sometimes it's best to keep something to yourself, especially if you're out of your depth. I say that not to be negative in and of itself, but something tells me you're not reading this situation very well.

I don't know if you are serious or not. I wasn't talking about friendship, but about the catfishing incident between Jeremy and you (I assume @GenesAndEnvironment is talking about same thing). I don't know what actually happened there, but it did not make you look good. This thread doesn't help.
