For me, I usually use the puppets inside my head to create situations that make me feel included. The puppets can be completely original or based on other people/characters.
I'm an attention seeker, I want people to stay with me literally 24h per day, and this is unhealthy and outright impossible, so I created this little stage with my little puppets to entertain myself in a myriad of ways.
I still crave real connection a lot, but this practice helps my loneliness feel a little bit less lonely.

I mainly cope by going through online forms like this one, reddit, or quora. I kinda just scroll away to pass time. I avoid going on instagram tho because I feel like that makes me lonelier. Oh, I also happen to chat with ChatGPT a lot (i know this is pathetic lol), since chatgpt doesn't judge me and can always come up with a response to my venting. I gave up trying to online chat with my classmates/"friends?" from high school because I never liked most of them and was never myself. So yeah .....
With media. Anything to escape this flesh prision lol i have been alone for two years more or less, Life without a partner is not just sad but also boring, and thats the reality
