Hi! This is my first thread on ss.
I live in the US, and I have considered many methods, however SN by far seems the best.
While I do not feel the need to go through every reason why, the primary ones are that it is cheap and relatively peaceful.
I have found a couple sources, however I have no idea how to make sure I am not getting scammed - as I am on a very tight budget.
While the sites I have found seem very trustworthy, I do not see their acronyms, or similar, mentioned here much. So this all leads me to ask:
Is there any reliable way to figure out if a source is legitimate without actually buying the product?
I am willing to dm if your account seems trustworthy.

Thanks!

Edit: I've found another source since this was posted which seems to be more reliable, if I could get anyone to verify it, I'd be very thankful!

If it is a chemical store that sells many products (not only SN), it should be fine.
Alternatively, a meat-themed shop.

SN is not an illegal, strictly controlled substance.
It's simply salt, which, fortunately for us, has an additional purpose.

When your SN comes, you can test with aquarium strips.
If you ordered from the right source you should be fine, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure.
Some people order 2xSN. One for the test, one for the future.

Just remember to make sure it is NaNO2, sodium nitrite (not sodium nitrate), etc.

The best way is to order it and do an aquarium test, but that's not really an option for most people. You could send me your sources, I can say if theyre legit

Type the initials of the source in to the search bar :) if it's a source that is known to SaSu, there should be several threads on its legitimacy.

If it's SD, I can personally speak. I ordered the cheaper one & it arrived in a few days. I have yet to test it, but so far it seems legit.

You can just put the website name into the address bar in quotes to search for it :)

I appreciate the responses! I have found three sources which should be reliable, I am going to order some from each for aquarium tests (as you guys have recommended), and get the proper amount to ctb from whichever seems the best option.
Once again, thank you all for the help!
