Method How did you decide on your preferred method?

Probably SN but I've not completely decided. I want to pick something that's the least traumatic for whoever finds me.

I just can't overcome my SI, so can't let go of my hands and put all the weight on my neck.

My method atm is SN, this could always change, especially if it becomes harder to get, then i'll go for something else, but for now it's the one i like most.

It's cheaper and easier to get than F or N, and it doesn't have the setup of the exit bag, which makes it more acessible for me.
It doesn't have the consequences of standard ODs through meds, so even if i fail, i don't have to deal with liver failure or brain damage.
It's also not as scary as jumping or hanging to me, so it's easier to just do it.

This. Word for word. Bit of a compromise as SN can lead to a certain degree of discomfort but F and N are just not an option unfortunately. I just want it to be as peaceful and comfortable as possible. I hate pain.

I'm going with the Night Night method, though I'm sceptical on how effective it'll be. I chose it because it's painless, silent, and I need to acquire little for it to work.

If I come to the conclusion that, after extensive experimentation, it will not work no matter what I do, I'll try the exit bag with over the counter sleeping pills, as taught in the book Final Exit. But I'm also sceptical about that one. The pluses are that I can get everything I need on Amazon, and in theory all I have to do is fall asleep under a bag, which I don't mind the sensation of having on me.

If both those methods fail, it'll be back to the drawing board, to research and choose a new method. It must be painless and peaceful, and not have me acquiring anything that I'm not comfortable with acquiring.

Drowning with weights (backpack full of rocks tied around my waist and heavy object tied to both ankles).

I live just next to the sea, so accessibility is there. I've tried overdosing and hanging before, both failed, and i really dislike the feeling of tightness around my neck. No access to firearms, jumping terrifies me, and I currently cannot get SN here.

I've always found the sea to be peaceful, and even if drowning might not be (different accounts say different things), i'm still willing to take the chance and hoping for a peaceful death by drowning. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter, as long as death is guaranteed.

I was always very sure about hanging, but over the last few months, I lean more towards carbon monoxide. I think it's a process that I understand more, and the nearest thing to dying in my sleep that I could achieve at 27 years old.

I chose N. It's quick, peaceful and I think you would feel very nice as it kicks in, like a general anaesthetic (I have taken small doses of it). The only bad thing is it's hard to get and tastes vile.

I decided that for the first time in my life I would have something good, a peaceful death has always been my dream and I wouldn't settle for anything less than that. So after a lot of research I decided N and moved everything in my life towards that goal, and with some luck I finally got it.

but at some point it was just a pipe dream, so I considered similar methods like SN and amitriptyline that also offer a relatively peaceful and reliable exit. I really like these kind of methods because they don't leave a big mess, one of my priorities is also a clean and not violent looking death. there's beauty in dying while sleeping, just a peaceful scene, like the end of a dream that I didn't ask for.

Jumping, because I have a fascination with high objects, I want something quick, lethal and that I dont need any resources to execute. Ive tried methods like OD, slitting wrists, partial hanging, poison and they just dont work, either because of low lethality or being found.

I'm still bouncing around like three. SN preferred, gun, and train and maybe a fourth of overdose on fentanyl somehow or heroin, I'd like to have all three or four figured out so I can choose when it is the good time to do so. Hopefully this year if not early next year but with this virus shit train is looking like the best one.

Hey so hanging's my alternative (to jumping)... I prefer the idea of full over partial too basically because then it's done for sure. I have various woods near me but finding the right tree is harder than I thought... Have you got an anchor point yet?

Probably gunshot... if it's not impulsive at least. I used to watch gunshot suicide videos to see how quickly they were gone if not right away. But I mean, you bump your head you get confused for a bit... I think the concussion of a firearm would definitely knock you out if it wasn't an instant end.

Inert gas Exit Bag is my preference because of the limited methods accessible to me, it is said to have the highest chance of success (many reputable sources say it is near certain to be fatal if the procedure is followed correctly), and finally it is said to be painless, gentle and nonviolent which appeals to me very much. I don't want to suffer; I feel that I've done enough of that already.

I am in the process of trying to buy industrial He. My fear is I won't be successful in getting it, and thus I will have to resort to something else. I doubt that I would be successful in hanging or ligature, and I don't know of a way to obtain all items required for SN, so I suppose I would then resort to charcoal CO, but I would have to go to a remote location and either be in my car or some kind of shelter such as a relatively air-tight tent, and the whole process seems difficult and failure-prone.

Consider Nitrogen......I chose Nitrogen and told the welding supply company I was using it for storing food in 5 gallon containers. Purchased a 40 cu ft gas cylinder and regulator from him with no problem. Same procedure as Helium.
