How can I get therapy and other psychiatric help without insurance or lots of money?

I only make $18/hr, my job doesnt start giving benefits like insurance until after ive worked for a full year so i still need to wait 6 months. I want to consider getting therapy or actual psychiatric help. My sister sent me to therapy once but i stopped after only 2 sessions cause it was too expensive. After I went to the ER for cutting myself i got a referral for therapy but I didnt even bother going because it wouldve cost me $90 just to go to my first appointment and get selected a therapist. I want to get help, but mental help in the USA feels constantly too expensive.
