How bad is SN without AE?

I plan to leave as soon as I have SN and do not have time to find AE. As long as I manage to keep it down and have an extra dose, it is okay?? I can take some ibuprofen.

It's the same as with AE. If you gonna puke, you will puke, so having the back-up dose is important

not that painful/ only with moderate discomfort?

Remember not to lie on your back, only on your side, to reduce the chance as aspirating vomit, as that would be very unpleasant.
