This is such unbearable torture. It's crazy that we're all fighting it.

Is anyone else here shocked that CTB isn't a way more of a common thing? Like we should be hearing about at least one person we know doing it every few weeks or couple of months?

How do so few people end up successfully doing it?

How does everyone here deal with the very high likelihood that we're going to suffer for decades before we're finally free, because we don't have the gall to do it. Even though were going to have to face death one day anyways.

i think a lot of it is because we probably have more idle minds, a lot of people are probably in pretty miserable conditions like we are but theyve got a job or a kid or some sort of responsibility that keeps them remembering that they want to die so they cant really get into the feedback loop of depression in the first place. you know? although i think depression can be much more "pathological" as sometimes it could be in some part of someones brain at all times even when theyre busy.

Good question, I plan on correcting that soon.

Well, decades is much, much worse outcome than succesfully logging out. Getting sick and old is one of the reasons for me.

If 2000 people kill themselves daily, how many try? How many just think about it? I don't know if we can say it's prevalent. If half of population would kill themselves around the same time, system would change drastically, because that would mean something is catastrophically wrong. But instead of that we have some percentage unable to live under current system, but those get eliminated and we're left with only those cunts who have no problem or even thrive. Then they build worse system. New brought people get indoctrinated to think everything is normal and good, but still lots cannot delude themselves and catch the bus.

I've seen many here say this exact same thing, including myself, only to find ourselves still here after 3-4 years.

Fair enough. I was supposed to be gone before last spring. We've also seen plenty of people here go, and I hope to soon join them.

because its hard,
I was always told I would be taking the easy way out by my family, but its kind of a pain in the ass to pull off with nothing but the bare minimum of resources.
your body will keep fighting until the very end, no matter how certain you were of your decision.
it felt like that to me at least.

Laziness is stupid word in this context.

Laziness is usually a lack of motivation.

In psychology, lack of motivation can be significantly influenced by fear of failure leading to procrastination which often masks the fear that you will fail or do poorly, so your brain decides to do nothing to protect itself. I agree that the term laziness is not a good choice of words for this topic, as our brains seem to be hardwired to avoid very stressful things even in everyday life. There are very few things in this life, that induce more of a stress related response than facing ones own mortality and also facing a deliberately dangerous act towards our own body.

I'd be long gone if peaceful methods like Nembutal weren't made illegal by humans who want others to suffer in this terrible, torturous existence for as long as possible, I always suffer so much from being trapped in this horrific prison world where there is all this endless cruelty and suffering with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, to me existence is always a mistake, non-existence is all I see as positive.

So is it Nembutal or nothing for you?

Are you prepared to live your life and just die of old age or disease if you fail to get N? It's more or less impossible to get now.

I think some people are stuck in the rat race with not enough time to properly plan and research. Some people are so unwell they need treatment for the near future as a priority. Some of these people are probably bed ridden and can't even leave the house to get the required equipment etc. Others may be in poverty hence tightening their options. The list could go on.

How do so few people end up successfully doing it?
That's bc all good methods are restricted or have been made inaccessible.

Humans grant animals a peaceful death if they'd have to endure unbearable suffering yet humans grant suffering to their own species even though it's unbearable to so many humans. Unfortunately, that's human logic.

I always wonder this too and it actually scares me because if so many people fail even though they are depressed and miserable and suffering, then how could I ever succeed??? I've never really been successful at anything so I'm not naive enough to think this will be any different.

I do have an (almost) foolproof method tho. A old gas generator and a car. But I fear SI. I'm sooo worried that it just won't work out for me. I don't know how to beat the SI if I feel it coming. I've never made an attempt before so I have no idea how my body will react to dying.

Do you think people who are very motivated and determined fail a lot? Or do you think it's just the people who might not be 100% sure? Because I'm super determined. I have nothing tying me to this earth and no reason to be alive. No family I'm close to, no friends, no career, nothing to my name, absolutely nothing. I also have bipolar disorder which makes my suicidal ideation so much more persistent. I think about death 24/7, even in my dreams death is always somehow incorporated. I wonder if people in my shoes fail a lot.

Do people fail because of SI, or because they have doubts, or because their method isn't good? I have so many questions but I'm just so scared that I won't be able to succeed and I'll just be stuck in this miserable world suffering for decades to come. If anybody has advice or words of wisdom I would appreciate it šŸ™‚

I can only speak for myself and say that I'm here because I have addictions that I enjoy and make me feel good. I love smoking weed and eating edibles, I love drinking whiskey, rum, and beer, and I love creative writing and playing video games still. I know that my life will end in suicide some day, but apparently I'm not ready yet. When I am, I will be certain of my decision and at peace with it. I can only hope it could work that way for everyone who wants out of life.

I also don't have access to a good method anymore and I am afraid of failure, because what if I attempt and survive with permanent injuries and lose the ability to try again? I also have this fear that if I did end my life, and my family discovered I was on this site, they would blame this forum for it and I don't want that. I love this community and while I respect everyone's decision to live or die, I don't want to be one of those who chooses death and my dumbass family members join the "SHUT DOWN SASU" bandwagon.

If I could just die in my sleep randomly one day that would be ideal, but it would also suck because I wouldn't have the option to say goodbye here. I suppose if I disappear from Sasu completely without an explanation and I am gone for longer than a year, the best thing anyone can do is assume that I died an accidental death, whether it be in my sleep or caused by something else like a car accident.

I think the only people that succeed are genetically wired in way that their brains will allow them to do it. A genetic characteristic they we may not have.

That's actually so scary to me knowing that my brain might not be wired that way and I might just be doomed to live this life for 70 more years 😟 omg I wish there was a way to beat SI

Im too scared to go through with it in any slightly difficult ways.
On top of that Im always fighting with myself I have like 2 sides there's the part of me that wants to give in, and the side of me that's scared and keeps trying to get help while Im not thinking clearly.
I know doing it is the right thing to do, But it's just not easy...
