Yes, as I suspected, the doctor betrayed me. He got me admitted to a Psych Ward instead of giving me Lethal injection. Just have internet access now.

I am not sure about the exact context, but i think they can lie if they believe their patient's life is at danger nor can they kill their patient. But if this doctor was certified for euthanasia, and if that's what they planned, doesn't make sense.

Wow....that was disturbing to read. Whoever wrote that is deeply disturbed and seems like delusional among other things. It fits for this post because you don't just go to a hospital by appointment and get euthanized. Perhaps another delusion.

This is a good reminder for everyone that not everyone in this site is fully sane and we should not take everything at face value. Do schizophrenic people ever know they have schizophrenia? Most bipolar people know they have bipolar, autistic people know they have autism, people with clinical depression know they have depression, people with ADHD know they have it. But as far as I can tell, schizophrenics often do not know they have it. I also noticed that with people with narcissistic personality disorder, overt or covert narcissism, also often don't know they have it, and same for borderline personality disorder. I suppose there are certain mental disorders that we are not aware of if we have them. If euthanasia would allow mental illness as an entry criteria, OP would qualify with flying colors, no doubt. It makes you think, why the disease of the body gets you qualified but the disease of the brain doesn't. Even Switzerland clinics hesitant to accept mental illness as a qualifying criteria

I was asking myself the very same thing. Without having researched it yet, I would suspect no. I could imagine them feeling like me if someone told me that the sky is actually purple and that my workplace is really a psych ward where I'm a patient. Or some other nonsensical things. It would probably convince me as much as you would convince a schizophrenic or otherwise delusional person that what they're experiencing is not safely anchored in reality. You would probably just make them trust you less or even confirm their beliefs from their perspective. Logic won't work, because they have their own logical constructs. It doesn't work like that. Observing situations in other threads has confirmed this.

In any case, I hope that the OP is getting useful help now.

I really don't feel like this guy should have access to this site. That's the only thing I could imagine helping. They are clearly not of sound mind -- which is a prerequisite to signing up -- and literally every textbook sign of schizophrenia is on display in this document. The paranoia, the delusions of godlike power, delusions of being hunted down and tortured, the disorganized speech and incoherence... It's all front and center. Very painful read. I feel sorry for them.

Okay, let's see. I'm going to relax and calm down for sometime (2-3 months atleast) and then plan the self-deliverence again. This time I'm thinking to do it solo and not involve anybody else
