Help help with passing out - carotid artery

does anybody have a video/tutorial on how to properly place my hands around my neck to pass out? I'm really lost and have been trying laying down on my stomach and pushing on my carotids for a week now with no use. I know where they are, i just can't seem to get my positioning right.
