Kind of what the title says. But, I think I might actually go through with killing myself a couple months down the line, so I just want to make sure I get the sn method down correctly beforehand. I tend to ramble and go off-topic a bit, so I apologize in advance if that happens while I'm writing this.

Soo, to begin with, I currently weigh 166.6 pounds. Is 2 grams of sodium nitrite enough? I read that just 2g of sn is lethal enough to induce death regardless of one's weight, but I just want to eliminate any unnecessary variables if not.

Speaking of which, what kind of sodium nitrite do I need? Will any do? Does it have to be like, 100% pure sodium nitrite? It's legal to purchase through Amazon in my country, so if any of you guys have recommendations on which brand is best, then that'd be nice.(Joking, but also maybe not really, I'm a visual learner.)

Also, can I drink alcohol with sn? I wanted to drink myself till' I was wasted. Then, right before I pass out drunk, I ingest the sodium nitrite. I'm asking since I'm the type of drunk to sleep like a log, and I'd like to avoid panicking at the sensation of dying if I wound up waking up in the middle of dying, if that makes sense. I was also thinking of taking a shit ton of melatonin too to induce drowsiness, could I just do both alcohol and melatonin? Or maybe one or the other? Idk.

When I was reading up on the sn method, there was a lot of talk about anti-nausea medicine, so, should I take that too? I don't really know how fast sn can kick in, so if I need to take it as well, should I take it like an hour in advance so that it's in full swing when I go to ingest the sn?

In general, I just wanna avoid dying in pain. I dislike pain, that's the only scary part about dying to me, really. That, and I guess the brain instincts that kick in during survival mode, which is why I want to be drunk passed out when I go through with it.

I bought a small sketchbook that I'll use to journal everything and my thoughts until then. Who knows, I might change my mind about going through with it entirely, that's just how life is.

But please do let me know your thoughts on if my spin on the sn method is okay.

(Kind of unrelated, but I initially was going to use the carbon monoxide method because of how much I had heard about it being relatively painless if done right. But, I've read lots about the sn method since then, and it seems a lot less complicated, hence the existence of this post.)

Short answer is yes. Recorded fatality using 1 gram has been published. The lethal dose reported in many accounts amd studies varies drastically. People can die with 1 gram, some survived 25 grams or more. Potency, physical health, resistance, age, supplementary drugs are just some of the many variables that determines lethality in sn poisoning. To be on the safer side, i'll follow the standard protocol of 25gm.

Food grade, technical grade, reagent grade works as long as purity is 95% above.

Alcohol is not advised as it may alter the digestive system's ability to react with and absorb the nitrite. Fasting seems to be helpful.

Antiemetic is important, but not integral to success. Vomiting is common so it is helpful.

I'm also considering CO :))

Thank you for commenting! Honestly forgot that alcohol can indeed slow down digestion, so thank you for pointing that out. In that case, I'll probably just gun down a bunch of melatonin beforehand and wait for the drowsiness to kick in before ingestion.

Glad to know that just the usual 95% SN can do the job, I've already added it to my cart haha.

Truthfully, I still feel a bit more inclined towards the CO method, mostly since I've read so much about it, and kind of have half the items laying around already. (All I need is the chimney starter and tent, lol.) What makes me hesitant is that the climate is always too hot year round where I live (even at night!), and I'd rather go out refreshed, with air conditioning, than be a sweaty, uncomfortable mess. So assuming you're not intending to do the CO method inside, make sure to consider the climate as an important variable when planning, lol.

Better to read the sn guide first.

That's true! In my situation tho, CO is more challenging to pull off. The cost, set up, prep, timing and space are my main reason leaning towards SN. SE Asia where I'm from, is not very strict with distributing SN. Thanks for the input!

Who survived 25 grams? Seems like something malfunctioned.
