  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

When everything is lost everything is found

I've chosen my 9mm with hollows as my method. I felt confident until I heard about someone being found alive, and then succumbing, which is a nightmare of mine. I want it to be instant. I'm so tired and overwhelmed, I just want out. But man, I'm so nervous about slipping up. How do you go about feeling confident in your CTB method?
I think there is always this feeling of "will it work?" but believe me, just plan how much as you can and so good as you can after this its not in ur hands anymore. Don't overthink. I try to be calm and try to be confident with my method. My method is very deadly, theres no chance if I do it right. I just always tell me: " Don't be a pussy, ppl did it before you." Not the best advice but it works.

My first method was citric acid and baking soda... I still think about it, but there's little information about how it works. Some people say it's painful, some say it's not... Its used to euthanize small animals, however, people sedate them before doing the whole process.
Now im thinking of hanging but SI will surely kick in and there's always the risk of failure. Eh... Idk what to do.

I will jump off of a nearby bridge. It's 219 ft tall and has a history of successful suicides. However, one girl managed to survive against all odds, though she broke a lot of bones. I don't know whether or not she became a vegetable but she did have another attempt on that same bridge which was successful.
I'm scared because knowing my luck I might end up alive just like that girl.
Could you share what bridge?
I'm sorry I have that same fear

I can send you a private message if you want. But it's not in the US or any of the "western" countries.

I was super confident in my method, until I discovered this site. XD
Pretty much this. I put together an exit bag setup with argon as the gas after reading through a copy of the PPH that I'd come across online before I found this site. Then I started reading here about better alternatives to the exit bag (EEBD hoods, SCBA masks), and the fact that I should really be using N2 instead of argon gas due to the weight of the gas relative to CO2. All things that the PPH fails to cover. So... I need to do some retooling of my setup, as I'm not confident in what I've assembled currently, but have confidence that I can fix the flaws.

Yeah, on my ctb date, in the last minute, I bailed on my original method which was full suspension hanging, I chose it for it's simplicity but then I couldn't shake the thought of ending up with brain damage. So I'm going with SN instead, I know it'll be painful for me, but at least it's not as risky if it fails, and I can cosy up in a bed instead of dangling at the end of a rope.

Out of curiosity, if you don't mind me asking, what do you mean that it'll be painful for you? I'm just curious as I'd heard that hanging was painful but SN isn't as much?

I have an ulcer, if it doesn't fully heal by the time I ctb then drinking SN will feel like rubbing salt on a wound, and will make it difficult for me to breathe. With hanging you become unconscious much quicker than with SN, that was another reason why I initially chose it.

Im sceptical to all methods, including the ones I have settled on. It's just because I am scared of them failing. Even if it's not very likely, there's always that risk and the last thing I want is to fail.

I have SN and i don't doubt it because it's basically science, i just have to tidy up a few things and it will take several months, i don't want to go on like this much longer, i've had a really bad time this last summer with anxiety, physical discomfort and waves of loneliness. The moment of ctb must be difficult, but it's the moment to decide your freedom and end everything that is bugging you.

I'm ready to do it now, but not too confident. Hoping to huff until I pass out into a noose and let my weight do the rest. I've been practice and tried just hanging before, but never got far with either. I only half passed out earlier trying to block my carotids manually.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. :( Finding the least painful method is so tricky, it's a shame it's so hard.
