I have been doing research lately. I am at the point now that I want my life to end more than I ever have after all the years I've been imagining it. I just don't know if I can do it on my own. I want to look into traveling to Switzerland where assisted suicide is legal and there are centers to help. I'm typing an email to a center now I'm just afraid I won't be taken seriously because of my age. The site says that as long as you're an adult and you're competent you can be approved regardless of health status. Has anyone inquired about a method like this or know anything about what the process will be to go through with it and have it approved? If I have help I'm almost positive I'll be able to finally go. It's all I ever wanted and at this point I feel so trapped I'm hoping against hope this will work. Every day hurts so bad. I just want it over and hopefully whatever comes next will be better.

Yes, there are recent threads about interactions members have had with both Dignitas and Pegasos. Both seem to make it quite difficult for the young and people suffering from mental illness to "qualify". Results vary from demanding exhaustive documentation to flat out referring enquiries to a suicide hotline:

They also charge 10,000CHF and have heafty membership fees to even be considered (which isn't refundable if you aren't accepted).

I was just considering Switzerland yesterday but I'd never be able to afford it so I didn't dig too deeply.
