Story Happy Birthday to me!

For my birthday I got an email from a lawyer about a case I'm involved in. They scolded me and plan on dropping me as a client. YAY! What a surprise. The other present I got was my roommate got a girlfriend that moved in with us. She eats my food from the fridge, takes my cups and plates and uses them, and when I brought it up to my roommate he just yelled at me. FANTASTIC! If this is what I got for by birthday I can't wait to see what I get for Christmas

I am sorry this stupid behaviour of other people coincides with your birthday. It shouldn't be there in any of the other days of the year, but I understand why it hits differently when it's your one special day out of 365.

My humble advice would be to not give importance and attention these people don't deserve. And by letting their stupid behaviours affect your special day, you are giving them undeserved attention and importance. F*ck your roomate and his girlfriend. If necessary, go out by yourself, away from them, have a great meal, watch a nice film, play games... I don't know - just treat yourself, you deserve it.

I had a steak and bacon burger as my birthday cake. It was pretty good. I wanted to put candles on the buns and blow them out but I couldn't find any last minute.
