hanging or stabbing?

i only have a thin cotton rope and it'll most likely break when i hang myself

maybe i should stab myself instead since i have a decent knife but i think it wouldn't work too

any opinions?
(im just making preparations)

They both sound terrible especially the stabbing part. I don't think a person can ever stab themselves to death. Has that ever happen before? I could be wrong. Maybe if you hold the knife to your chest and then fall on it or something. But don't do it. Why are you rushing it? Failing is extremely painful and can set you back permanently.

Stabbing is such a cruel and horrible method I wouldn't even consider in my wildest dreams. But perhaps you want to have a look into japanese seppuku. That's how ninja warriors killed themselves when they fell from grace for example. It's a horrible way to CTB imo .... not recommended.

please don't stab your self , you are thinking impulsively right now , if you put your self in a handicapped position you can never CTB

try this method , it's the one im using and if you do it right , it's peaceful

The stabbing method isn't really recommended for ctb as it would just lead to failure, this method is very difficult to even attempt as the survival instinct will just kick in, leading to way more suffering. But it's up to you deciding on the method, best of luck.

For stabbing with a knife, you would have to cut the carotid artery on your neck for it to be as painless as possible. Which is...hard to accomplish.

As for hanging, you'd have to look into full suspension hanging and partial suspension hanging. If you do either of these correctly, you'll be unconscious in a matter of seconds.
