Method Hanging from a bridge but also jumping.

Sorry if this is something weird or already discussed. I was thinking to like hang myself of the bridge but also jump of it. That you actually kill yourself by hanging but can't fail because you jump first.

Its also a normal height bridge over water. Easy to jump over the balustrade and to fix your rope onto

i do not know anything about hanging as a method, but i have seen two videos that showed people doing what you described and it seemed to work. no idea if it makes it less or more effective however.

edit: ok i'm stupid but this is suicide we're talking about so better be precise. what do you mean by jumping? like literally jumping off the bridge or just letting yourself fall? it seems like the same thing to me but you emphasised jumping in your post and i don't see any other way of hanging from a bridge besides jumping (or letting yourself fall) so...

Think of bungee jumping but the rope is not on the feet.

Correct. It would snap the neck through shear forces and paralyzed her before she suffocates.

Yes, do not use hardware store rope. Use climbing rope. You need something that can withstand tensile forces from variables of falling. Once it goes tight, if it snaps, you won't break the neck, choke you, and if the fall is below 80 feet, your chances of survival is pretty good.

Edit: watch the movie "Scarface", the scene where Omar Suarez is executed by Sosa's hitman. He throws him off a helicopter with the rope attached to his neck.
