I'm eager to CTB, but guns aren't possible for me to obtain (long story). That's the most attractive option because it's the most immediate.

Otherwise, what's it like taking SN, and how can it be legally obtained?

I wouldn't know what SN is like. I've certainly read mixed results. It's important to follow the guidelines or risk failure. The stuff is incredibly salty, and has a high chance to cause vomiting which needs precautions to prevent.

As far as getting it, may be difficult depending where you are as its become a popular option which means getting a seizure and welfare check could very well happen. You could try to BS by claiming you are practicing meat curing or something along those lines to avoid the psyche ward.

Never say never, but the chances of successfully acquiring SN are extremely low. Previously reliable vendors appear to be not so reliable any more... and there are other problems with SN deliveries. It's probably a good idea to take a look at alternate methods. There's a lot of information on this site, among others.
