I can attract them, but there's not a lot of opportunities in public to meet anyone. I tried college again but everyone is really young. I'm in my 30s.

If youre alone and see a woman you like but she's with her friends, what is one supposed to do?

Forget about it. If she's with just one, maybe you can approach them both (if you've got balls) and one will pursue while the other finds it funny. But if she's got multiple, forget about it. She brought those friends with her to protect herself from people like you and I. It's best if they're regulars at that location because they have a little more trust in their surroundings.
