There have been some really gruesome capital punishments over the centuries, below are 8 of them, if you had to choose one to CTB, which one would you choose.

For me I'll be death by drowing. I've already almost drowned twice in my life.

Forgive me for the super gross and utterly disturbing image, but this used to be a punishment towards rapists back in the day.
Maybe some people that do this deserve a death like that but just having a thought of dying this way...
Gives me the creeps.

Of course though, if I have to pick from the original 8 methods... Drowning would be my wish.

I couldn't drown probably because I'm a smoker and sometimes find it hard to breath but the frightening thing about the rapists violent death was knowing what was in store for them committing that hideous crime, they still done it.

Skin flaying for me, but I of course can not do it alone. Many of my ancestors went through this punishment in the good old ancient days, I can just as well honor their souls. I also have this weird wish to die a painful death I do not know why, but I would most likely not act on this wish, as the more painful methods are harder to set up, harder to get the courage for, and above all more likely to fail.

Not supporting rape or any violent crime, just expressing my views.

But the offenders are still humans that have some rights. What even is the point of killing them anyway, it would not undo the crime. And even if we are killing them, why do we opt for more painful methods rather than the painless ones, and how do we determine how painful a death must be to be a suitable punishment? Of course they must be separated from society to prevent them from causing further harm and sending a message to society that may discourage crime. But it shall still be done in a civilized manner with no unnecessary torture involved, otherwise we would not be any different from these 'monsters.'

guillotine is the obvious choice for me, but drowning's alright too. i mean, not a big fan of the cement shoes, but it's better than having rats eat through your stomach or being flayed.

i'd like to mention scaphism. you put the victim between two boats, with their heads and limbs poking out, and force feed them milk and honey. honey is also put on their limbs to attract insects, and when they shit themselves, it becomes a perfect place for insects and pests to breed and feed on them. it's all downhill from there. (seems like a waste of food to me, but hey, if it works).

That can be said for about every crime, any criminal can get back to his/her business after he/she is released. Imprison them for life, kill them painlessly? Sadly, these feel like the only methods that can ensure that they will never again repeat the crime they did. We shall remember these evil people are no different than us, and had the events in our life be similar, we may have very well been in their place, it is possible.

Criminals are released from prison all the time and return to there business but some crimes are more evil than others I think rapist should be only released from jail under the terms they have to remain chemical castrated for life and have to take random blood tests to prove they are keeping to there terms of release if they stop taking the pills a full life term.

That is the painful thing, managing things requires taking steps that are difficult to manage. It is often that released criminals who continue their old ways, many times switch to more serious crimes. Another thing I hate about the world.

I know a person made his own Guillotine to CTB but wouldn't it be great if we all met up on an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean with a carpenter who could build one, have a party for two weeks get drunk and off with my head,

This is a gruesome way to CTB especially if you don't die immediately plus watching your teddy go first, lol but seriously the earlier instructions for a nuclear bomb attack was duck and cover so get under a table as if they would protect you, die immediately or suffer years in pain.

I wish someone would invent a window type of guillotine that you could do yourself. Just pop your head out the window, press a button and voila. You're dead and the severed head on the ground lets the authorities know they have a dead body to deal with.

Without a doubt I'd pick the guillotine.

Yeah. It reminds me to shot oneself. Fast, reliable, desirable. It could be like throwing oneself from height, but without the panic.
I wish the State could give that service. May be having a bottle of wine or Baileys, before going to the painless state.
Currently I don't have much pain. It is more something I know will happen sooner or later. My isolation gives me peace. No job, no women, no friends ... no problems.
