i don't really know why im writing this because i haven't been active on here for a long time so none of you know me, i just private message one person here. i still want to say goodbye somewhere though, to someone, and this seems the best place to do it. im about to hang myself full suspension. i tested it and it's not that bad. i put a towel on my throat for padding and if i let myself down but hang a bit on the pull up bar i start passing out, then when i do ill let go completely. it really isn't painful. ill post a picture of my set up for you guys to see. good luck to you all, whatever direction your life (or death) takes, i hope your pain ends. it's sad that my pain wasn't even all that unusual or extreme compared to what so many go through. goodbye everyone

same here. my life sucks a bit now because i gave up on it years ago, but to be honest nothing was really wrong with my circumstances when i originally decided to ctb. i just felt like my dog had died or something all the time without anything in particular being wrong.

Even if you've not talked to me, I still don't mind hearing from u... I admit I want to have an idea how often members leave due to CTB, vs forget to login or similar, and my guess is that a moderate fraction (eg 5% or less) CTB. Example, out of 100K accounts (assuming no duplicates), 5K CTB. Since the site has been up for maybe 8 years, that works out to maybe 2 CTB's a day documented here (and I guess some undocumented CTB).

a message I might've sent was "if I may ask, what happened", and have had a conversation before ending in "cya" or smth...

Side note, just because this thread is posted doesn't mean you are obligated to perform any stated actions or not, me and others will respect your decision either way. If you'd like to edit the message you sent to the friend... you can do that too.

Please know that you should never compare your pain to someone else's. I have done that for years and it only ever ended in misery. Everyone's threshold for mental (and physical) pain tolerance is different so please never belittle your own pain I do hope you find the relief you need and my heart and soul are sending you all the hugs you deserve.
