Very low success rate. According to LostAllHope - it works about 10% of the time.

I was sent to the ER, then psyche (against my wishes) after overdosing on Propanolol in 2015. The fucking scum bag therapists just don't get it. The problem is, I NEED TO DIE BUT CANT! Hence why I resorted to a very risky method.

Overdosing is actually a good method but there are well documented cocktails to bring about fast peaceful death, its all the non researched and rushed ODs that skew this figure. It's also often the method of choice for suicidal gestures.

Yes, I suspect overdosing is the method with the most skewed numbers, given cases like teens rashly overdosing on 30 aspirin, thinking that will do the trick. It does seem like such a peaceful method, done properly.

So my question is. Someone who takes approx 180-200 mg of oxycodone daily could not take OD on say 2000 mg of oxycodone instant release and that person mixed in lots of Valium , 2 half pints of whiskey, and some other stuff, maybe muscle relaxers. I keep hearing people say that they are messing up. Is this true. If so, I've got some re-planning to do.

Late response yes but I don't think anybody could tell me a method better than OD other than gas. ODs and gas are the only non physical comfortable methods I can think of. Without getting convoluted and saying like take sedatives while setting up some precarious physical method like fall or hanging.

I just want to get my hands on the stuff that you get in Oregon for assisted suicide. I don't even know what it is called. That way I can just mix it up and go take a nice long nap. Is this too much to ask?

I feel that this is unimportant. If people went to say something they can, some that say something succeed and some don't. Some that say nothing also succeed and some don't. We've had members here announce their death and succeed after failures. This has nothing to do with it.

An understandable thing to say is that when somebody says goodbye numerous times it becomes harder to know what to expect and its not wrong to say you may expect them back but there's no need for the attacks and sly digs people have started throwing around. Does it do any good? No.

If you're absolutely of the belief people are doing it for attention with no intention then even so.. Ever since I was a child I realised that if somebody is attention seeking then THERE IS A REASON. Attention seeking is natural and reasonable, people who do it to a large degree are usually suffering for some reason or another. If you don't like it just ignore those people and keep this place loving please.

I probably couldn't name them all. Some slip through the cracks and literally nobody notices as satou kindly pointed out the other day. Sonnenblume is maybe one who left who I never interacted with but I believe was a good part of this forum.

A few others I know of that have just disappeared without a trace and due to speculation I know a few people are less likely to leave a goodbye post now.

Sorry I can't really say more than that because I myself am one of those people that doesn't really appreciate the speculation.
