Why does the internet say you should go to a doctor even with minor issues?

Don't they know that most doctors will just say you're wasting their time if you come for a minor issue?

They certainly won't do a large scale screening or anything.

Same with people who say you should "get help" if you're depressed, suicidal etc. The "help" is usually useless, or certainly no miracle cure as they claim.

Therapy isn't a miracle cure. Yet people online insist therapy is.

Why do they think doctors are literal god's who will fix any issue?

Therapy isn't a pure "cure", but it *can* help if you find the right therapist. Yes, there are doctors which frankly aren't meant to be, but there are some out there which are genuinely nice. The help being "useless" depends, really. Is your therapist/doctor good and understanding? If not and they seem to not care, maybe that's why it's useless.

It all depends on the therapist you get and also, it depends on how much you follow through and if you actually want to be better. If you go to a therapist with no intent to actually get better or follow through then yeah, it won't work.

It depends on the person and the doctor for the most part, but external forces out of our control will always be there. How you handle those forces though will certainly make a big difference.

Just because something is on the internet doesn't mean that it's true in anyway. Therapy is just a scam to profit from suffering, I think that pro lifers suggest it as they don't want to accept the fact that wanting suicide is a perfectly rational response to existing here. And anyway you cannot trust medical professionals, I believe that many people are suicidal because of malpractice. Like therapists they only care about money, this world is so money orientated, I mean the fact that the society needs slaves is why they try to force people to continue existing in the first place.

It is a liability issue. They really cannot say what you should do to treat yourself. They can only say what treatments often work. Hense the advice to see a doctor in person.

Tbh, I kinda wanted to become a therapist, a good one. Reading people's posts here really brought up a variety of issues and it made me think I wouldn't be any better than any other doctor, unfortunately. Still wish best for everyone, whatever brings you peace ♥️
