Crazy Cat Lady

So I've finally decided to get this crappy life over with. I've bought my shotgun (still need to buy the ammo), decided on a place (my car, parked in a semi-secluded area so I won't be disturbed but my corpse will hopefully found within a day), wrote my goodbye notes (one for my family which I will have with me, the other for the asshole who pushed me over the edge which I'll mail to him right before I ctb), and started clearing out my place of anything I don't want my family to find (an embarrassing amount of empty liquor bottles, ngl).

I left instructions telling everyone to not have a funeral or any memorial service, not that anyone would actually attend but I'm afraid my family might feel obligated and I honestly just want to be forgotten completely, like I never existed. I would prefer my corpse be donated to science but if not it's no big deal, just toss me in the swamp or something idc.

As for property or assets, I don't own shit so that is not a concern. The only thing of value I have is my car and if I ctb in it it's most likely going to be impounded, so again, not a concern.

I feel like my plan is solid but idk, is there anything I'm missing? Something else I should take care of before I shuffle off this mortal coil once and for all??

I also just wish to be forgotten about, if it's up to me I'd choose to completely erase my existence. But anyway I wish you the best.

I sometimes wonder if anyone will actually follow the instructions I leave them. I tend to think they will still do things their own stupid little way.

Sounds like you've put a lot of thought into it.

I'm not sure if it would worth your time to contact a lawyer and do a will. You may able to specifiy that you don't want a funeral and that you want your body donated to science. There might even be some form you could download from the internet for free.

I would think a handwritten signed note would be enough, but maybe it's not. The law can be complicated.

My extended family has a history of legally challenging people's wills and winning. People are selfish and laws are crazy. Definitely can't assume people will do what you request.
