General cyanide thread.

I'm desperately in search of potassium cyanide, I don't trust nor care for SN as it just doesn't seem reliable. Does anyone else care for discussing all things cyanide, such as procuring it, methods, dosage, sourcing. Oral or gaseous methods welcome.

From what I know SN is a much more peaceful exit. Read about the Jonestown suicide/murder/massacre where 918 died in 1978 in Guyana (cyanide and other drugs laced into Kool-Aid). Yeah, it's effective - but gruesome.

I know but I don't like how there's hundreds of threads here about failed SN. I don't like the chance, 3g of potassium cyanide, gg, you're over in 2 minutes guaranteed. For me personally it's just more appealing

i been looking for SN for a long time with no luck, I would guess Cyanide would be even harder to locate...

KCN can be prepared from K4[Fe(CN)6] as described here (section "Pyrolysis").
HCN can be prepared from K4[Fe(CN)6] and H2SO4 as described in this book (page 659, method II).

I'm not going to share them as that would be illegal in my juristiction (though I have no moral qualms about doing so), however cyanide can be made relatively simply and guides showing how to do so are readily available.

Could you post the links to any of these threads where the person did everything right and yet failed? Not trying to be mean, I'm genuinely curious about which ones you read because in every single failure thread I've seen lately there's at least one obvious factor, especially being found too soon and/or eyeballing the dosage.

20-40 minutes to unconsciousness, at least 4 hours without being found is advised. Personally I'd do at least 6 to 8.

Search for how many seeds you'll have to eat before successfully getting mildly cyanide poisoned. Wish they still made jewellery cleaners with cyanide... Easily accessible... People won't even suspect you took it to catch the bus... Just probably think you were dumb enough to place jewellery cleaner in a water bottle.

i just read that a lethal dose for someone weighing 70 kg, only takes eating about 40 bitter almonds.
that's less than an average bag of peanuts
