Will you use any of these variants?

๐Ÿ“Œ 1) Thread 'Guide on how to create an anchor point for full suspension hanging using only a dumbbell'
2) Second variant option, door + dumbbell

Can you write us more about what procedure you have planned?

Have you tested your rope? (It must withstand all your weight) Is the chosen door firm and strong? What object will you use as an "anchor" to tie the free end of the rope to?

Just reading the information provided, the general advice that comes to mind is...

To achieve unconsciousness, the position of the ligature and knot will be essential to block the carotid arteries and oxygenated blood supply to the brain.

A self-tightening knot is best (e.g., the Noose knot with stopper knot, also known as Arbor Knot). The knot should be placed behind the neck in the center.

The ligature (rope around the neck) should be placed under the jaw. More or less at the height of the Hyoid Bone, which is above of the Adam's apple (laryngeal prominence). It is the softest area of the neck and where the rope will most easily penetrate and compress the arteries.

๐Ÿ“Œ 'How to locate the carotid arteries?'

I'm using the method you sent a link for, with a rope that is highly recommended. What would be the best knot to use ?

So, it's the first variant, right? Will you use a dumbbell or other object on the other side of the door? Or.. where will you tie the free end of the rope?

For the ligature (neck): Noose knot with stopper knot (also known as Arbor knot)

For the anchor point.. you haven't said where you'll tie the free end yet. But...

I'll ask @AreWeWinning for help (: (Thank you as always!)

Yeah I'm doing tying one end to the weight and the other is a noose . I'll put the weight on one side of the door and the noose on my side and have it all be held by the weight and the door.

I'll pass, but thanks for mentioning me. It makes me feel appreciated.

I did comment on her previous thread though (she was called Manic Panic then).

It would be good if you secure (lock) the door, so that it doesn't open for any reason (and you don't fall in case it happens).

It is important that, before making any attempt, you must be 100% sure of your actions. And be alone with no one lurking around.

Oh, I didn't know, sorry.. I'm not good at remembering many names.

The door I'm using doesn't lock but but I have a idea to turn the chair around and have my feet push it under the doorknob so it doesn't open .

It might make it difficult to get to my body but it will prevent me from falling or having anything come undone when I start to go unconscious.

Blocking the door with just a chair might be a little unsafe, maybe I'm overthinking it..

But, to that option you could also add a portable door lock. There are many types.

Something like this one for example..
