Venting Forgive me if I sounded like a LARP but there may be a turnaround for me soon

Hey guys.

I know I vented about being suicidal over because I can't get a partner but I am talking to a guy on tinder who I really like and he is cool with us meeting in person this week and I hope he is set on for it.

Yes, I am a male myself but I am bi and I really like him and if he becomes my first time ever having intimacy I feel it would definetly change my life and worldview. Unfortunately there is a downside, when it comes to other men I can only do hookups as I can't do long term relationships with other men because I come from a super catholic conservative family and if they find out I am bi it will ruin my entire reputation. Sure you can tell me "but you live on your own" but here is the problem, I live on my "own" in name only as my family still has power over me because I still need to rely on them for stuff like transportation.

I don't live with my parents anymore but even then they still have some power over me.

I live with my brother and his gf who make more than me as I barely make above minimum wage but even then, I can't tell either of them I am bi as I risk my entire reputation being destroyed.

U r not a larp. Most of us would feel much better if we find people we actually vibe with and can form an actual deep bond with.
