I read a bit of the PPH about CO,,, I really have no background in science but I have almost all of the stuff needed to make the generator. a friend was able to get me sulfuric acid and he didn't even ask any questions,,. I have no clue when I'll find the motivation to work on the rest of the generator but I have time so its fine. I looked at a bunch of places online that sell formic acid but they all look super sketchy,,, having the goal of finishing this project and catching the bus is motivating me in a lot of other stuff too, but mostly just making me happier,,,

If it helps your search, formic acid is used in bee keeping. Think for mite control?

CO can also be produced out of concentrated sulfuric acid and sodium methanoate.
