The other day I finally managed to locate my carotid artery and pass out during partial hanging. I tested it a lot and finally got it right. I plan on heading out in the very early hours of the morning so I'm outside of my house when I ctb. I'm so happy to escape this hell. Thankyou for being such a great community.

I felt my vision going out and then quickly loosened it. I passed out after removing it.

Sure!! I'm leaving the house in about 5 hours which will make it 4 am, if I walk a bit I can reach the woods. There's some low hanging branches I'm going to test to see if they can hold my weight.
I tie a simple slip knot using a scarf I have and kneel into it quickly without letting my knees hit the floor. I just have to fight my instincts for 20 seconds ish.

What did you use for partial? Did you tie the knot close to the artery?

The knot goes at the back of my head, I lean into it kind of to the right of my neck under my jaw.

Three years of non stop suffering and mental pain that I'm tired of fighting, put simply.

Can you do this kneeling with your knees touching the ground? Because that's how I practice with a belt and I start getting light headed

I did try that a few times at first but I found that for some reason it was less reliable at getting me lightheaded.

It shouldn't hurt, it's painless but it is very uncomfortable. The discomfort shouldn't last too long though.
I'm going to nap for about 4 hours and then I'm setting off.

I believe second half of this answer will be that you start to feel very dizzy and as if about the pass to pass out - without getting the head pressure, eye popping feeling of when the jugulars are occluded - rather than the carotids- hope you didn't mine me interjecting here!

Sorry melting heart for all the questions but where is the carotid artery located i have been on this all day and still cant figure it out i feel a pulse in my neck like a heartbeat but other than that idk if i can find it plz if you have any good info on how to locate it that would be great and btw if i find it what do i do from there

I wish I could hang myself in the woods! I absolutely have nowhere to go. The closest I can go to is still frequented by cars and such.
