Venting feeling like an alien

I feel like nobody is like me, not in a "I'm not like other girls" way but in some intrinsic, fundamental way
I feel like a different species, like an alien among people trying to figure out how to be one to the best of my abilities
I just don't understand other at all, everytime I think I've learned something I'm proven wrong
I feel like I'm watching a science experiment unfold and am trying to take notes to understand what I'm looking at

everything about humanity baffles me, the food combinations people like and don't like, opinions on harmless things, the worse people having the most power, trends, designer items, etc
I can't even think of it all but I'm confused on the daily by the things I see
everything seems so messed up and I don't understand why

Do you think there's a chance you might be autistic? I think that would explain much of what you said
Also, have you heard the song called "What's going on?" by Elio Mei? I think you might find it relatable.

Ur not frm this world, that's why...ive also felt like I don't belong here..i spend most of my life alone, i don't like ppl

I actually have been tested for autism and the person doing it acted like I was the least autistic person she'd ever seen, I still have suspicions of having autism or adhd but am focusing on my depression in therapy, I just don't want to add more to the table
and no I haven't heard that song, I'll check it out!
