Venting Feeling guilty about using my family's money to CTB

So I'm unemployed, live with my mother and siblings, and all the money i get is as allowances and gifts.

I'm currently living like a miser saving every penny so that I can get a hotel room for a night to CTB in (I can't do it at home to minimize my family's trauma). But obviously since I don't have a job, my family is going to piece together that I bought the rope and got a hotel room using their money, and I'm afraid that they're going to feel horrible about that and feel as if they're responsible.

Is this rational? A solution would be to get a job so that I can CTB with my own money, but I've had 5 job opportunities thus far and flopped at every one of them. Seems I'm destined to be perpetually unemployed lol

i would try to get a job even a shitty one.

im not sure where you are from but funeral fees doesnt sound really nice to pay....

im not sure how easy your family has it regardless its gonna be a big trauma.
