Venting Feel bad making my parents spend money

I need a new laptop for school because my old one was recently stolen and the one my sister lent me has a bunch of problems making it practically unusable but I feel so bad asking my parents to buy me a new one when I'm just going to kill myself and it'll be sitting junk that no one uses or even wants to touch. I feel this way about everything I buy, it just feels stupid and counterintuitive.

i feel the same way. i hate asking my exhus to buy food ect. especially where im anorexic so most of the food goes to waste (well that or accidents/spills). "cant be wasted if i didnt touch it in the first place"

i dont have any advice or anything, but i can at least say youre not alone.
