there are two big suicide songs for me, that i listen to on repeat when im feeling bad. they are both not related to suicide at all but the music and words have a big impact on me. the first is "I Want to Break Free" by Queen. the second is The Party's Over (Hopelessly in Love) by Journey. i am planning to listen to the latter song while i CTB. im also thinking of writing a note that consists of one of the lines from the latter song, which is "the party's over // I have gone away".

do you guys have any CTB songs that are "unusual", aka that you wouldn't normally relate to CTB'ing, or that aren't explicitly about suicide?

but life still goes on!

i can't get used to livin without, livin without, livin without you...

by my side

i don't want to live alone

hey!

god knows

got to make it on my own

so baby can't you see?

i want to break free!

I like Ode to the Mets by The Strokes, no reason in particular besides its sound. 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins is another mainstay of my bad mood music; relaxing music without a positive overtone is pretty nice for these kinds of moods in my opinion

One Headlight is also a big favorite despite its ironic lyrics
